Detroit Lions Rank 9th in League in Players Association's Survey, But Campbell Gets A+

A survey conducted by the NFL Players Association of players ranked the Detroit Lions 9th in the league out of 32 teams when it came to categories like the locker room, training room, ownership and treatment of families. The ranking was up from 13th last year.

At the same time, Coach Dan Campbell got an A+.

The union stated on its website:

One of our core jobs as a union is to improve the overall working conditions for our players, which includes the daily experience of players at the team facilities away from the lights and cameras.

1,695 of our players provided information to share with one another about their current club, to not only help them make important career decisions, but also help raise standards across the league.

Here's the grades for the Lions:

  • Strength Coaches: A-
  • Team Travel: B+
  • Head Coach: A+
  • Ownership: B+
  • Treatment of. Families: B
  • Food/Dining Area: B-
  • Nutritionist/Dietician: B
  • Locker Room: C+
  • Training Room: B+
  • Training Staff: B
